Charles was called as pastor of MCBC in February of 2020. His passion for ministry stems from a hearts desire to see that all people are reached with the gospel of Jesus Christ and that disciples are equipped and mobilized to replicate their faith. His personal approach is to reach, teach, motivate and replicate. His ministry experience includes 14 years as a Minister of Students and 13 years as the Executive Director of two Baptist Camp Ministries. Charles is married to Amy Hill and has two beautiful daughters, Kayleigh and Rylie.

Shaune Martinez
Music Minister
Shaune Martinez has been leading music in churches since 1993 and enjoys blending his love of modern worship songs with his appreciation of classic hymns of the faith. He credits his passion for music and ministry to his upbringing at First Baptist Church in Diboll, TX, where he developed a strong foundation of faith. Shaune and his wife, Kristie, met while studying at East Texas Baptist University and have been married since 1999. They reside in Tyler with their daughter, Ruby, their golden doodle, Bizzy, and a little grey bunny named Bruno. The Martinez family cherishes time with loved ones and finds joy in serving their church community. As a bi-vocational minister, Shaune also works as a financial advisor with Southside Bank Investment Services where he enjoys helping clients plan for the future.

Jason and his wife Heather joined our staff in 2019 and have been having a blast leading and developing our youth programs. Their daughter Kylie and son Logan have been a welcome addition to our family oriented church setting. We look forward to many years of ministry together.
